Mason 5 months already???

Hi Everyone

Five months have gone by incredibly fast, as everyone has told me all along,
and I’m (Adrianna) now back at work. But let’s move to happier thoughts;
there have been some exciting milestones during this past month and each one
has had us in awe. The first one being that Mason went on his first plane
flight to San Diego and he was a rock star, a fact reinforced by the
passengers behind us saying they did not even know there was a baby in the
row in front of them. Let’s hope this continues when we take our next flight
later this month. A day after we returned back home, he turned over (a
legitimate turn onto his stomach where he pulled his hand out from under
himself) and is now he is doing 360⁰ turns from his back to his stomach and
to his back again. He is still trying to sit up, but hasn’t mastered it yet.
The most he can do at this point is sit up and put his hands in front of him
to prop himself up, but that only last for seconds before he folds in half
like Gumby. Mason has also started grabbing everything in sight, including
anything we were eating, which was the precursor to us giving him his first
solid foods. He seemed to take to eating the rice cereal and bananas right
away with a little help from the food train sound (which isn’t a surprise
considering he is an eating machine). At the moment, Mason has found a new
love for listening to Bryan play the guitar and sing to him – on occasion Mason
will chime in and sing back – the other day he actually fell asleep on the
futon to Bryan playing the guitar …SO CUTE! And finally earlier this month
he began eating his feet which he can’t seem to get enough of.

He hasn’t had a doctor’s appointment this month, so we don’t have accurate
stats however from our measurements he is 25 ½ inches. Last month he weighed
in at 14lbs 8 ounces and we think he is now at least 15lbs.
Talk to you all soon!
Love
Adrianna, Bryan and Mason
