Mason 3 Months

We can't believe Mason is already 3 months old.   As you can imagine, he has
changed so much since our last email, with the biggest change being his ability
to interact with people and toys.  He shows this routinely in his new Baby
Einstein gym; a sea creature themed toy.  His favorite underwater characters are
the sea turtle and the octopus, which he constantly babbles, giggles, smiles and
blows bubbles at them.    Mason has also begun to mimic various sounds we make;
our favorite of all is the motor boating sound that he will trade back and forth
with us (Pauline thinks we are more entertained than him and she is probably
right).
With the NBA playoffs and finals on over the past month, Mason has gained a
genuine interest in basketball; so much so that he will sit and watch the games
with us.  We recognized rather quickly that if we were going to have a chance to
receive the “Best Parents of the Year” award, we probably shouldn’t have him
watching TV.  Immediately after this realization we turned the TV off, and
immediately after that he started crying – lol.  With that said, it is probably
a good idea to regain our “Best Parents of the Year” consideration and state
that Mason has been sleeping through the night for the past four weeks.  We have
also introduced bedtime stories to him where he sort of helps turn the pages
with his feet.
So let's get to the important stats, at his Doctor's appointment yesterday he
weighed in at 13 ½ pounds and measured 24 inches.   Enjoy the pics.     Our
